{"id":81,"date":"2020-03-31T16:14:08","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T16:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jaderiderjourneys.com\/cookbook\/?p=81"},"modified":"2020-05-16T22:13:35","modified_gmt":"2020-05-16T22:13:35","slug":"sandras-granola","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jaderiderjourneys.com\/cookbook\/2020\/03\/31\/sandras-granola\/","title":{"rendered":"Sandra&#8217;s Granola"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PSA It <strong>is<\/strong> addictive!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Preheat oven to 325<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have two baking sheets prepared with parchment paper<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Combine in larger bowl:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">6 cups rolled oats (HEBs 100% whole grain Old Fashioned)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\/4 cup pumpkin seeds<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2153 cup sunflower seeds<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\/4 cup chopped pecans<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00bc cup slivered or sliced almonds<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 tbsp chia seeds<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 tsp cinnamon<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Combine is smaller bowl:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">3 tbsps almond butter ( or peanut butter)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2153 cup agave nectar ( you can get light)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00bc cup maple syrup ( you can use sugar free, just add more)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">one (1) capful of vanilla<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spray your hand(s) in Pam, get a spatula and large spoon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stir up both mixtures, then pour smaller bowl in spoonfuls into larger mix.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Knead and squeeze dry ingredients with the moist ones into adhesive mix.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Evenly spread out on baking sheet atop the parchment paper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Place baking sheet in oven.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Set timer for 25 minutes. When timer goes off, take out, stir up, and tamp down browner bits, put back in oven.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>TURN OFF OVEN<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and leave to finish hardening until oven is cool.<br \/>\nTake out trays, and let granola cool off. Put it in jars, plastic containers, whatever can be sealed. You can add in cranberries, raisins, as you store or serve them.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Also good with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and yogurt!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nPSA It is addictive!
