Friday is just around the corner. Things are not quite clearing yet. So the squeeze seems to still be on. The gentleman who volunteered to give the motorcycle a look through had to work today, and I am waiting to hear from him. Looks more like God is asking me to wait on Him, and trust in Him.
I have spent the day working from home, waiting for two Guatemalan plumbers to figure out what is going on with our drains and sewers. It warms my heart to hear the childhood accents and phrases while they work in the sweltering Houston summer sun.
Another layer to the cake you say? Sure, the closing on the house we are selling has been delayed because of a technicality in the way some paperwork was [in]completed by the appraiser. This has now pushed the closing date until after my expected departure on Friday, and we need to get a power of attorney document so Sandra can sign for both of us.
Yet, all of this should be small, if not insignificant potatoes. Considering the fight we are involved in. Considering the suffering of children who finds themselves victims of sex trafficking, or forced into labor; why am I complaining.
So today, I share with you this video from Voice for to the World’s Children, in Canada. Two simple stories, on oppressing truth.
