I know, the title say it all. It is 9 days before departure. My life is very hectic to say the least. We are still in the midst of moving, even though we now have been living in the new [rented] house, but we still have a few things in storage, and the old house still requires some cleaning before closing day. Tomorrow morning, I meet the movers, who ran out of time to complete our move on Saturday. Meeting time you may ask? 7 am. From there it will be off to work, and then, some more cleaning, dealing with utilities, home alarm, … and unpacking. Dealing with a leaky sink, a leaky washer, and, Oh yes, prepping the pack.
Today I received one last item to finish prepping the motorcycle. It is a throttle position sensor protector, which on the BMW R1150GS can be damaged in a fall. This was one of the many pearls of wisdom I gained from my off road riding clinic.
So tonight I decided to fulfill one more thing. I submitted an iReport to the CNN Freedom Project. I had been meaning to do this for a while. Check it out here
