28 days before departure, and a sad Texas high[low]light

I cannot believe that there are only 29 days to go.  It seems like a there is plenty of time to get things done, and yet, every day is filled with things that I need to get done beforehand. Not the least one is that we are closing on our house (selling) at the end of May, and we still do not know where we will be living next.  But God will provide.

Almost all the necessary gear is in, and almost all the shopping in preparation is completed. Today, I thought I would share the map below.  It is one of the resources provided by the Polaris Project, and it shows how many calls went into the NHTRC with calls and reports on suspected human trafficking cases.  Texas and California account for an overwhelming majority of these.
