This morning I contacted the offices of the Polaris Project in Washington, and decided to add them to the list of beneficiaries for the 2012 Ride. The conversation was very professional and positive, and I look forward to working with them towards achieving a world in which slavery is part of history, not part of our present.
Here is a bit about Polaris.

Polaris Project is a leading organization in the United States combating all forms of human trafficking and serving both U.S. citizens and foreign national victims, including men, women, and children.
